At times we can experience problems with our thoughts, feelings, actions or relationships. Psychological therapy offers a confidential, safe & supportive relationship with a qualified professional to explore these difficulties, heal & move forward. My approach is individualised for each client & I work collaboratively with you, drawing on more than 15 years experience & various, evidence based, approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). ​

I am available on a Monday to Thursday in the afternoon or early evening, charging ​£90 per hourly session. 

Please note that due to working in independent practice I am unable to offer placements or work experience.

What is Counselling Psychology?

Counselling psychologists work collaboratively with clients experiencing a diverse range of difficulties, including mental health problems & life issues. 

Using a holistic approach they aim to understand the client's unique life experience & to empower their recovery, improve psychological functioning & alleviate distress.​  

Counselling Psychologists have a BPS accredited, undergraduate degree (4 years) in Psychology & 3 years full-time, post-graduate, doctoral level training, click for more info. 

Professional Registration


​The title Counselling Psychologist is protected by The British Psychological Society & the Health and Care Professional Council. Anyone using this title must be fully qualified, registered with these professional bodies & adhere to their ethical and professional codes of practice.

Payment & Refund Policy


For individual therapy I charge from £90 per session.  If you need to cancel an appointment, twenty-four hours notice is required. I will do my best to find an alternative suitable session time for you. If you are unable to give the required notice, sessions will be charged.

Please note that I am unable to offer crisis support, therefore if you pose a high risk to yourself or others (e.g. through self-harm or suicidal behaviour) it is unlikely that I will be unable to take your case on. ​
