Therapy can help to alleviate distress, improve your psychological well-being & enable you to find a positive way forward. Invest in you Life can be tricky. We may face loss, bullying or trauma. At times, self-criticism, conflicting feelings or past hurts can overwhelm us. We may struggle with distressing thoughts & feelings or want to change unhelpful patterns of behaviour. Sometimes our relationships leave us feeling dissatisfied or we may feel on edge, stuck or fed up without knowing why. Having a safe space to explore what is going on can help you make sense of your experiences, process difficult feelings & develop skills to enable you to reach your full potential. My approach My approach is tailored to you. I will work collaboratively with you drawing from over 17 years experience of providing psychological therapy (NHS & Independent Practice) & extensive training in a variety of psychological theories including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am also trained in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) & I have attended further training in a variety of approaches including Person Centered Counselling, Compassion Focused Therapy, Trauma Informed Therapy & Mindfulness. I also contribute to research & teaching, publishing widely, so you can be assured my approach is grounded in the most recent evidence. Availability Currently, I am available on a Monday afternoon to early evening, charging £90 per hourly session offering therapy online or by phone. This enables me to offer therapy across the UK. Please note I am only able to offer therapy for clients currently residing in the UK, in line with indemnity insurance & professional registrations. |
